Monday is meet the teacher! This event will be from 5:30-7! New families are encouraged to meet in the MPR at 5:00 for new family orientation.
Reminder, sneak peek is TOMORROW at Peter Piper 🍕 ! If you cannot make it no problem! Just be sure to head to the MPR first for your packet with your child's teacher assignment.
If you would like to purchase uniforms or patches or Viper swag, that will be sold starting at 5:30 in the MPR by Ms. Oda!
Lastly, if you would like to bring school supplies, those will be accepted during meet the teacher! Please take those to your child's class with you!

A little information about the event:
This is an opportunity for you to see which teacher your student got, grab some paperwork. Maybe even meet fellow parents, your kids friends, and teachers and staff members all while eating pizza! 🍕
We look forward to this event every year but understand you might not be able to stay and play! If that’s the case, order a pizza to go and we still get the donation credit!
When you order at Peter Piper make sure you mention VVA! They’ll point you in the right direction from there!

Our next Viper Village highlight is Mrs. Arehart! Mrs. Arehart has been teaching for 28 YEARS! She also has a masters degree in education! We got a well educated team! Mrs Arehart is always doing something new and fun in her classroom! This week she has chicks! The kids love hearing their sweet little peeps throughout the day. Mrs. Arehart leads with love and teaches all her students to be their best self! She encourages them to reach for the stars every day! Her whole class has worked so hard this year they’re all working at a 1st grade ELA level! If that doesn’t speak to the genius of Mrs. Arehart’s teaching I don’t know what does! She’s a lover of animals and all things nature! Her classroom is camp themed and during centers there’s always an air of excitement when she announces who gets to read in the tent or in the treehouse. We love you Mrs. Arehart!! Our next Viper Village highlight is Mrs. Kinne! Mrs. Kinne has been teaching for 34 YEARS! She also has a masters degree in education! Ms Kinne’s heart is full of love and it’s so sweet to watch her with her students. Her love for her students is so obvious in the way she greets and talks to them. She starts the morning with a morning meeting meant to get the kids to know each other better. Sometimes this is silly and sometimes it’s sweet. No student is ever left behind in her class as she makes it a point for everyone to feel loved and included.
Our kindergarten program really encourages our kids to transition into those bigger grades by focusing both on academic and emotional growth. “Kiss your brain” Mrs. Kinne! We’re so grateful for you!

Today's viper village highlight is Mr P! This is perfect because it is assistant principals week and we may be biased but he's the best! Mr. P is also the athletic director and can be found cheering on all our vipers. During the school day Mr. P runs around to assist in classrooms or on the playground. He's a cheerleader for all the students and encourages growth mindset and to make each day better than that last! He's also an avid PEZ collector!
